How to apply to bachelor and masters study programmes

1. Applicants for the two semester Preparatory Professional and Language Courses (PPL) leading to MSc/BSc study programmes

There isn’t any entrance examination to study in PPL

Application deadlines:

- applicants from out of the C.R. and EU: 15 May (http://is.czu.cz)

- applicants from CR: 15 September (http://is.czu.cz)

Prerequisites:

- TOEFL 60, A2, or at leats two years of attendance in English taught programmes

- for MSc studies Bachelor Diploma, Transcript of Records

- for BSc studies High School leaving certificate, Transcript of Records

Tuition fees:

- 4000EUR per academic year for MSC
- 3000EUR per academic year for BSC

- The classes start the last week in September.

ALL FEES must be paid at once!

NO INSTALLMENTS are allowed and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.

It is possible to be registered to regular form of studies after successful completion of the PPL and after passing the entrance examination (the Nostrification of Bachelor diploma is needed for MSc studies and Nostrification of High School is needed for that).

Successfully completed courses could be recognised in the further studies. It would help to decrease the time needed to complete the studies.

- It is needed to have legalized Diploma and Transcript of Records (Apostile or superlegalization according the  countries where the diploma was issued). Please click here to find out more about the Nostrification process. The Nostrification of high school leaving certificates is done at Prague Municipal office click here. Nostrification of Bachelor education is done by a Czech public university that offers simmilar study programme to the one completed abroad (please contact Rectorate study office of the selected university). 3.  Applicants who can come to the Czech Republic for the admission examination held in June and who will posses the Nostrification document about their previous academic studies (Bachelor Diploma for MSc studies or High School education for BSc studies) by the date of the admission exam. 

This information is for these study programmes: BSc: Economics and Management, Business Administration, MSc: Economics and Management, Systems Engineering and Informatics, Eropean Agrarian Diplomacy

Application deadlines:

-       31 March 2016 (http://is.czu.cz)

Tuition Fees:

-       32000 CZK per academic year for MSc Economics and Management.
-       20000 CZK per academic year for MSc European Agrarian Diplomacy, MSc Informatics.
-       32000 CZK per academic year for BSc Business Administration.
-       15000 CZK per academic year for all other BSc programmes.

The Tuition Fees are paid annually. The standard time of education is three years at bachelor programmes and two years at masters programmes. It is possible to extend the studies by one year. The Tuition fee remains the same for the one additional year. The fee is however set to 40000CZK for the following years (fifth year in bachelor programmes or fourth year in masters programmes).

4. Applicants for the - MSc in Economics and Management

                                  - BSc Business Administration

4.A)   Applicants who apply from outside of the Czech Republic and  who need to apply for a Czech study visa from their home  countries

Registration deadline:         

- 31 March (http://is.czu.cz)

 Prerequisites:

- TOEFL 80, B2, or at leats two years of attendance in English taught programmes

- Nostrification (recognition of Bachelor Diploma for MSc or recognition of High School for BSc)

- It is needed to have legalized Diploma and Transcript of Records (Apostile or superlegalization according the  countries where the diploma was issued). Please click here to find out more about the Nostrification process.

 On-line interview:  

- The interview cannot be conducted without completed Nostrification

- May (for those who have to apply for the Czech Study visa)

 Tuition Fees:          

- 32000 CZK per each academic year. It takes two years to complete Masters Degree at CULS

4.B)  Applicants who can apply from the Czech Republic

 Online registration:

 Prerequisites:

5. Applicants for the MSc in Business Administration

5.A)   Applicants who apply from outside of the Czech Republic and  who need to apply for a Czech study visa from their home countries

- Applicants from Ethiopia region will be asked to sit for the examination in Adis Abeba at the Embassy  of the Czech Republic to Ethiopia

Date of the examination:  April/May 2016. You must register for the test at the administrator of the study programme you are applying to (see above). The embassy will not allow to sit for the exam those applicants who are not on the list provided to them by the Administrators of the programme. The notarised copy of your bachelor diploma (or high school leaving certificate) and transcript of records (or allocation of hours) must be stamped by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education before you go to the exam at the Czech embassy. Students without stamped documents will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
